Nurikabe 3

I was experimenting with different grid sizes and came up with this. I suppose it would've worked just as well if it was stretched vertically rather than horizontally, but it just felt more stable like this.

Please Read This

After almost two years of non-activity, I am proud to announce the relaunch of Puzzlepalooza. I'm not sure what caused me to stop creating puzzles in the first place, since it is a very satisfying endeavor. Perhaps I have ADD tendencies. Perhaps it was just life getting in the way of doing the things I love. I only hope that I wont lose my focus this time and can keep crafting puzzles and entertaining others.

ALLOWED:

- Puzzle solving! Every puzzle can be clicked to open the image in it's own page. Some images are shrunk to be displayed on the main page, so clicking those images will open the puzzle full size. You can also click the link below each puzzle to open it in an online puzzle player

- Do what you want with the images (print them, copy them to your computer, etc.). Anything you want as long as you do not violate the NOT ALLOWED rules.

- Commenting. In fact, this one is encouraged. Once again, restrictions apply (see NOT ALLOWED)

- Link to this blog. You do not have to ask me. Just go ahead and link to it. Of course, if you let me know, I may be able to promote your site.

- Email me. Whether to say "Hi, I like your site." or some constructive criticism that you do not want in the comments or if you just want to submit a solution to ask if it's correct. Email address is james (dot) frye (at) gmail (dot) com.

NOT ALLOWED:

-You are not allowed to claim these puzzles as your own.

-You are not allowed to post the puzzle images in your own site. (Though you may post a link to the images.)

-You are not allowed to post spoilers in the comments.

-You are not allowed to spam comments. I understand the occasional accidental double post, but if you post comment after comment of the same thing, or advertise some completely unrelated product in the comments, you will be banned from commenting.

-It isn't exactly a not-allowed, but it is greatly frowned upon to post non-constructive criticism in the comments. No one wants to read, "That puzzle sucked!" without an explanation as to why it sucked. I hope to never have to employ a banning mechanism to prevent people from posting comments, so please don't make me do so.

Finally, each puzzle will have a link above it to a Rules page for that particular puzzle. And I know I mentioned it above, but I think one thing that sets my site apart from others is that you can solve (almost) all of my puzzles online. Yes, that's right! Most of my puzzles don't even need to be printed or copied to Paint to be solved. Just click the PUZ PRE v3 link below each puzzle to take you to an online player for the puzzle. Be warned, though. The site is a Japanese site, and while it does have an English menu, it is easy to click the wrong link and get lost in Japanese text. It also will automatically tell you when the puzzle is correctly solved (although not necessarily uniquely). Super cool.
